Thorney FC was relaunched in 2022 by our Chairman – Kevin Scott after noticing a lack of facilities within his local community. As a dedicated father it quickly became a family centred club that takes pride in creating a supportive and inviting environment for everyone of all abilities.

In 2022 the club started with one under 8 mixed team and one mens team. To date, we now have 10 including two girls only team.

All of the junior teams are playing in various leagues, including the Peterborough and District Junior Alliance FA, Alan Boswell Group Cambridge Girls and Women Football League, GCE Higher Fleet Peterborough and District Football League.

At Thorney FC, we believe in nurturing not just talent but also dedicating time towards our coaches. With 20 Coaches now supporting the club across all age groups each having successfully completing their FA accredited courses. We firmly believe that it’s not just about winning football matches; it’s about the shared passion for the game and the friendships forged on and off the field. Thats winning!!
